One puzzle, two screens

Work on the same puzzle together, each on your own device. Tessa Premium lets you host nearby co-op games, and your guest can join for free.

To start, open the puzzle room on the host device. Your guest chooses Join nearby puzzle and scans the room code. The guest receives the puzzle photo and can choose to keep a copy when leaving.

Start free

Keep two puzzles in progress, choose from five sizes for each puzzle shape, and keep your completed puzzles and run history. Finishing a puzzle frees a slot, so you can keep creating new puzzles over time.

Tessa Premium is a one-time purchase that adds unlimited puzzles in progress, the two largest sizes, and nearby co-op hosting. No subscription. Guests can join a nearby game without buying Premium.

Make it your own

  • Choose square, wide or tall puzzles, with sizes from 6 to 324 pieces depending on shape. The two largest sizes require Premium.
  • Crop your photo to frame the puzzle.
  • Zoom and move around the board, with a minimap to help you find your pieces.
  • Hide the photo preview for an extra challenge.
  • Pick up where you left off with saved progress.
  • Replay favorite puzzles and see your finish times and personal bests.
  • Play with touch on iPhone or iPad, including Apple Pencil input on iPad.

Created puzzles can be played offline. Photos stored in iCloud may need an internet connection to download before you create a puzzle. Live Photos are used as still images.

Private by default

No ads, no accounts and no tracking. Your puzzles are stored on your device. When you choose nearby co-op, the puzzle photo is sent directly to your guest's device, where they can choose to keep a copy.

Premium restores the purchase, not deleted photos or puzzle saves. Tessa does not provide cloud synchronization of your puzzle library.
